Happy Women’s History Month!!
Our “Women in Windows!” is showcasing IRIS by NATALIE CRANDALL & AUTUMN BOUQUET by ROSE FLANAGAN Stop by CannaBoss Lady at 9 Highland Place, in the blue bldg.
During Women’s History Month, businesses in Maplewood Village celebrate women artists through Windows for Women. This project aims to uplift women. Throughout March, business owners in Maplewood will display artwork by local women artists in their windows. March is Women’s History Month, honoring women’s contributions to American history. It began in Santa Rosa, California, when the Sonoma County Commission on the Status of Women organized “Women’s History Week” in 1978 to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8. The celebration later spread nationwide, lasting throughout March.
In Maplewood, residents and visitors can enjoy a community-wide art gallery while supporting local businesses.
