This week, we are featuring Boss Lady Marichelle Hills, Owner of the beautiful @MeusShop ! MEUS (adj) // mine: that which belongs to me. MEUS is a home and lifestyle shop that celebrates curiosity and whimsy, supports independent artists and sources with great care, and strengthens the community through social awareness and activism. Inspired by the Queens NY neighborhood gift shop of her youth, Marichelle Hills created MEUS in 2014 to evoke that pure feeling she experienced as a child when choosing the perfect gift for her loved ones. She would say “people easily spend money on others, but rarely on themselves.” Today, MEUS is intended to honor the gift-giving ritual: to oneself and each other. Marichelle was recently featured in @Dominomag ‘s “Ask a Shopkeeper” series due to the unique nature of her offerings.
